Dear Friends of the West Coast Institute,
During this Canadian and U.S. Thanksgiving season we give thanks for all of our friends who have supported us over the years. We remain strong in heart and spirit, committed to providing a rich educational experience for our students.
Our dedication to our mission was affirmed at a recent Board retreat where we recommitted to our goals of collaboration throughout our community and alliances with other vision-aligned communities, valuing each individual member and diversity, equity and inclusion in our practices, policies and programs.
This year, due to the unpredictability of Covid and escalating costs, the West Coast Institute is experiencing a financial shortfall. Now, more than ever, we are reaching out to you, as friends of the Institute, to help us continue to offer our outstanding programs. Our fundraising goal for the year is $50,000 and we are grateful for whatever you are able to donate.
Donations may be made by visiting: https://westcoastinstitute.org/about-us/donate and selecting “Dorothy Olsen Fund” on the form. You can also access the donation page via the QR Code below.
Cheques may be sent to: West Coast Institute, PO Box 219, Duncan, B.C. V9L 3X3
Giving takes many forms. If you would like to join in our work in some other way, for example by volunteering for a Board Committee please contact Board President, Kim Hunter: [email protected]
Please pass this letter on to anyone you know who may be interested.
With best wishes and in gratitude,
Kim Hunter,
Board President
and Board Members: Ruth Ker, Astrid Lackner, Hans-Peter Mothes, Kate Reynolds, Rubeena Sandhu, Herb Walsh, Elizabeth Wilby, Wendalyn von Meyenfeldt
