Books have a way of finding us. And at the Rudolf Steiner Library (RSL), when a book “finds” you, it might just change the way you think about the world. Whether you stumble upon Steiner and want to explore his writings, perhaps for the first time, or you have been a student of anthroposophy for decades, the RSL has a book that will inspire you at every stage of your journey. 

We are the only national anthroposophical research, archival, lending, and mail-order library in America. Our unique collection has grown to nearly 50,000 items, housing all published Rudolf Steiner titles (in both English and German!) and hundreds of unpublished manuscripts, as well as an extensive selection of contemporary anthroposophical works. For Waldorf teachers and homeschool educators alike, we have a robust collection of close to 6,000 books on curriculum, pedagogy, and more.
