Group Leader Background Info
Since 1975 when I enrolled in the Waldorf teacher training in Detroit, Michigan, I have been inspired by Anthroposophy, a far reaching world view, developed and taught originally by the Austrian philosopher, author, social reformer and spiritual scientist, Dr. Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925).
After the teacher training, I lived and worked in the United States and Germany for 20 years in the international movement of Camphill Communities serving differently-abled children and adults. From 1997-present, I have been involved in Waldorf education as a class teacher, specialty teacher and administrator.
Along the way, I have also taken trainings in puppetry (from Suzanne Down) and educational therapy (from the Association for a Healing Education). Currently, in addition to offering artistic and Anthroposophical workshops, I work as a puppeteer and educational support therapist in Olympia, Washington.
Together with others, I am looking forward to facilitating a course in the Foundations of Anthroposophy and the Arts beginning in the fall of 2016.
