Der Seele machtvoll fliessen will,
Erscheine, lösend Seelenrätsel,
Des Weltendenkens Sicherheit,
Versammelnd seiner Strahlen Macht,

Within the light that out of world-wide heights
Would stream with power toward the soul,
May certainty of cosmic thinking
Arise to solve the soul's enigmas --
And focusing its mighty rays,
Awaken love in human hearts.

would pour into the soul let there appear,
healing the ravell'd soul's perplexities
the unalterable Thinking of the World,
focusing its almighty throng of rays
to the awakening of love in human hearts.
