Greetings friends of the Center for Anthroposophical Endeavors and the Rudolf Steiner bookstore! This email is to announce the offering of a class this fall: How do we know? (And The Philosophy of Spiritual Activity) An 8 week class led by David Axelrod. The class will be an 8 week real inquiry into knowledge itself. Understanding how we know is really understanding life itself; understanding what, in a sense, is behind it all. Such an understanding is exactly this class' goal. Due to the nature of the question of knowledge this class will be as much a question for the soul as it will be for the mind. Our path will be equally one of development and knowledge; personal change and education. We will work with the first half of Rudolf Steiner's book, The Philosophy of Spiritual Activity (1949 Hoernle/Poppelbaum Translation). Worked with properly, this half of Steiner's book unfolds the steps of thought necessary to reach the heart of the question of knowledge for ourselves. Reaching that heart, both as a class and individually will shed a new light and, actually, a new life on life itself. The class will be held Saturdays from 9:30-11:00am, October 5-November 23, in the Rudolf Steiner Bookstore library (9727 Lake City Way N., 98115). Cost is $100 for the 8 class block. Reprinted version of book available for sale at first class. To enroll or for any questions contact David Axelrod at 360-734-3751 or [email protected] *PRE-ENROLLMENT IS APPRECIATED*
