In the Philippines, Christmas tends to be a long (September to February), noisy, over-lit affair. The Holy Nights provides refuge for all of us to find a deeper sense of our being, our nature, deep within our selves. Like the proverbial box of Pandora, Hope is what is left in the chest.

Each Holy Night, I take a phrase or paragraph from the reading that strikes me. These are the works for the first four nights.

Connection with the phases of past, present, and future into one evolving horizon. - Hannah (Tennessee)

There is a reoccurrence for me, seeing the fleeing from Bethlehem to Egypt. I can connect to that ache for that constant search. This wreath is Baboushka's heart, with three hydrangea's for each king that awakened her heart to search for the 'child'. Along with iris for the pain she carried.
