This will be a two-day workshop to really dive into the specifics of Hand Puppet Building in this classic Waldorf-style.

This two-day workshop is perfect for the caregiver, the puppeteer, the teacher, and the storyteller. Participants will receive patterns and live directions to create a beautiful hand puppet that can be used as a joyful presence in the classroom, for storytelling, and as a tool to support social-emotional learning. After gathering supplies themselves before class begins, participants will have Jennifer and Janene to help guide the puppet making process resulting in a simple hand puppet that can be used in many different settings. After creating our puppet, we will focus on creating a character, learn basic manipulation skills, and techniques for bringing the puppet to life.
